Ultimate Chicken Tikka Masala Pizza

Deceptively easy to prepare, yet packed with flavour, this chicken tikka masala naan pizza is great for sharing.

Ingredients
  • 1 stone baked pizza base (mine had a very thin tomato covering)
  • 1 packet of The Spice Tailor Original Tikka Masala
  • 1 tsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 large breast skinless chicken, cut into 1 cm thickish strips
  • Small fistful of finely sliced green or red pepper
  • Small fistful of finely sliced red onion
  • ½-1 green chilli, seeded and finely sliced (optional)
  • Some extra fresh coriander leaves
Method
  1. Clean the pan and add and heat 1½ tbs. of the oil in it. Add the onion; cook gently until soft. Add the garlic and ginger and salt and cook until it no longer smells of raw garlic, around 40-50 seconds. Stir in the garam masala and roasted cumin powder; take off the heat and add to the gram flour along with the yoghurt, cheese, ¾ of the bread crumbs, red pepper and black pepper. Stir well to combine and season to taste. It should be creamy but firm enough to roll into little balls. If not you will need to add some more crumbs. Give the pan a wipe.
